కొలత అంటే ఏమిటి, ఏమి కాదు

ప్రతి విలువ ఒక కాలంలో (వర్షాకాలానికి ముందు లేదా తర్వాత) శాఖ ఒక భూగర్భ జల బావి నుంచి తీసిన ఒక నమూనా. భూగర్భ జలం కాలాన్ని బట్టి, బావిని బట్టి మారుతుంది. సరఫరా పథకం కుళాయి నీరు వేరే చోటి నుంచి వస్తుంది, శుద్ధి చేస్తారు. కొలత ఆ బావిలో ఏం దొరికిందో చెబుతుంది, ఎవరి తాగునీరు సురక్షితమో కాదో చెప్పదు.

శాఖ ఫైళ్లలో యూనిట్లు లేవు; విలువలను ప్రమాణం యూనిట్ మి.గ్రా./లీ.లో చదువుతున్నాం (శాఖతో నిర్ధారించాలి).

ప్రతి మట్టం ఒక పర్యవేక్షణ బావిలో నీరు నేల నుంచి ఎంత లోతులో ఉందో: శాఖ నెలకోసారి కొలిచింది, మీటర్లలో (ఫైల్‌లో "m bgl", అంటే నేల మట్టం నుంచి కింద మీటర్లు). నీటి మట్టాల బావులు నాణ్యత కొలిచిన బావులే: అవే నిరూపకాల్లో (coordinates) ఉన్నాయి. రెండు జాబితాలు ఒక బావికి ఒక్కదానికొకటిగా సరిపోలినప్పుడే మట్టం చూపిస్తాం; అందుకే కొన్ని బావులకు లేదు.

It is recommended that the acceptable limit is to be implemented. Values in excess of those mentioned under ‘acceptable’ render the water not suitable, but still may be tolerated in the absence of an alternative source but up to the limits indicated under ‘permissible limit in the absence of alternate source’ in col 4, above which the sources will have to be rejected.

రెండు కాలాలే ఎందుకు

శాఖ 2020 వరకు సుమారు 360 బావుల్లో, 2021 నుంచి సుమారు 1,020 బావుల్లో నమూనాలు తీసింది; 2024 వర్షాకాలం తర్వాతి నుంచి 1,771 బావుల్లో తీస్తోంది. పాత బావులను పేరుతో ఇప్పటి బావులకు జతచేయలేం, కాబట్టి వాటి కొలతలను వీటి పక్కన చూపించం.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్

తెలంగాణలా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ భూగర్భ జల నాణ్యత, మట్టాల బావి వారీ బహిరంగ ఫైల్ మాకు ఇంకా దొరకలేదు. కేంద్ర భూగర్భ జల మండలి (CGWB) బావుల సమాచారం రెండు రాష్ట్రాలనూ కవర్ చేయవచ్చు; దాని ఫైళ్లు, నిబంధనలు సరిచూశాక ఇక్కడ చేరుస్తాం.
